Standard Wireless Keypad

Standard Wireless Keypad

LiftMaster KPW5 Wireless Keypad

The standard wireless keypad we choose to install is the pictured LiftMaster KPW model. With long range operation, light-up buttons, and 5 different code capacity it has been our go-to keypad to install standard with all of our systems.

Gooseneck Pedestal

We install all access keypads on metal posts; the most common being the standard "gooseneck" pedestal. We always set them in concrete and use atleast 1 full 80lb bag of bagged concrete to hold it (usually more). We install the keypads at a height easily reachable from an SUV or pickup truck.

Free-Exit or Keypad-out

We typically install a device that's buried in the ground alongside the driveway that detects approaching vehicles leaving the property and automatically opens the gate to let them exit. However, it's just as possible to install a second keypad inside the gate that requires a code to open the gate to leave.
